What is good about this remake is the well-played role of Julianne Moore and satisfactory visual effects. Not really frightening, instead it will give you a pinch in the gut on why bullying should not be tolerated. Carrie (2013) is way better compared to other horror/mystery films because it has a story--thanks to Stephen King who authored the book from which this adaptation was based.
